Being a frontline healthcare worker, I have seen firsthand the detrimental effects of mental illness and how it can impact loved ones. I believe that openly discussing mental health in society helps break down stigmas surrounding mental illness while reminds us that help is available and we're not struggling alone.
I am so proud to share that a portion of headband sales will be donated to local mental health programs. I am committed to giving back to my community and to raise awareness for mental health and emotional well-being.
. . .
As a female-owned business, I am all for women empowerment; to promote a sense of self-worth, to achieve gender equality and to reduce discrimination.
I have partnered with Mamas For Mamas Vancouver.
"A specialized poverty relief agency and an all inclusive community for mothers and caregivers. We envision a future where no mama or child is left behind."
Mamas For Mamas offers so many incredible programs and resources. They have touched the lives of so many families. It is an honor to be a part of this and to contribute in some way.
The Rosie Headband was inspired by "Rosie the Riveter," a cultural icon. It symbolizes women in the workforce and for women's independence.
30% of proceeds from this headband will be donated to Mamas For Mamas Vancouver.
